Travis Deal
Architectural Design | Permitting Expediter
Travis has for many years practiced in the Greater San Diego area with a focus on North County. He works closely with clients, making certain that they clearly understand all aspects of their new home, remodel or guest home / ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) project by creating 3D CAD drawings, virtual walkthroughs, hand sketches and even cardboard models! His long-time experience moving projects through consultant coordination and city plan reviews in our area both accelerates and simplifies what can often become the ‘rocky road’ of permit processing.
Mark Perkins

Mark Perkins also began learning his craft at a young age, apprenticing with a custom cabinet maker where he learned the art of cabinet making as well as other areas of finish, trim and rough carpentry. Over the last 21 years Mark has owned his own cabinet ship, worked for one of San Diego’s premier woodworking companies, and built residential remodels and new construction.
Mark provides the day-to-day supervision and management for SM-DesignBuild projects, ensuring that all projects meet the company’s highest standards for craftsmanship, cleanliness and timely completion. His years of experience with cabinet making and finish carpentry help lend thoughtful and sophisticated design and detailing to our work.
