We located this ADU in Encinitas on the existing single family home lot in a way to provide maximum privacy
to the property owners, who will be living in the new 1200sf unit while renting out the main
house. During city review we successfully advocated for reduced side yard setbacks to
preserve maximum separation between the units and allow room for outdoor patio living.
